Boeing cockpit MIC connection point

Boeing mic connection point. 

Often located on the rear bulkhead of the cockpit, this small panel provides the connection point for the captain / first officer's headsets for communications.

The panel includes a connection plug for the hand mic often used for cabin announcements by the flight crew.

The plugs obviously no longer connect to anything, and we have not tested them. They could easilly be changed for new plugs and connected up to a flight simulator system if you wanted to incorporate the panel into a simulator environment. It has the typical signs of regular use, but is a real world item not a replica! 

The hook ensures the headset lead does not get accidentally pulled out.
