Boeing 747 Sperry Autopilot MCP unit

This is an autopilot/mode control panel as removed from classic Boeing 747 (100/200/300 variant) dubbed 'The Queen of the skies' The panel is found in the centre of the glareshield.

The unit is produced by Sperry flight systems, and carries a variety of authenticity stickers from the OEM. All of the functions move on the panel, but the unit has not been tested, and any plans to electronically restore should be carried out by a professional. The overall condition is very good, and the rear cannon plugs are protected and in good condition.

These units are increasingly rare, and from the early classic Boeing 747 'jumbo'. The unit is large and fairly heavy but would make a brilliant display piece or as the centre unit in your flight simulator project.
